Fitting it with your backrest

Good news, this is a quick fix you can do at home in a couple of minutes.

Your cover installs over the seat exactly as normal. For a backrest, you make a small slit where the backrest post comes through. The order matters, so here's how to get it right.

Install the cover on the seat. Once it's installed, put something heavy where you sit so it holds the cover flat and tight against the seat. This part is important. If the cover is loose when you cut, the hole lands in the wrong spot.
With the weight holding it flat, mark where the backrest post lines up, then make a small slit just big enough for the post.
Run a lighter quickly along the cut edges to seal them. This melts the mesh slightly so it will not fray or unravel.
Leave the cover on the seat and slide the backrest post up through the slit. That's it.
